As an artist I create intricate images of simple, everyday objects with the use of acrylic pigments.
My education as an integral designer has been of great help both in the selection and aesthetic of the object representation and its pictorial treatment on the canvas.
I use representative elements of popular culture, I play with the subjective interpretation that the mind makes of the collective imagination and I recreate them in a new one, with a strong Mexican identity through a saturated and vibrant palette of fuchsias, oranges, yellows, blues and greens, creating a fluid, refreshing, innovative and warm work.
I observe at the simple objects to find their possible intricate shapes and, at the same time, strip the intricate shapes of the object down to its simplest forms.
Any image transcends my pictorial reality because I transform it into a recognizable object, -be it a consumer object-, for anyone. At the same time, I use a lot of color reminiscent of pop art; colors that are intended to inspire the audience and brighten their day.
Painting is for me to capture the daily life of the object to highlight it in its particular beauty in a conscious way.
