As an artist, I have focused on looking for supports, different objects and unconventional materials that are able to speak back to the artwork itself. Paper, paint, light, pencil and some objects as spice jars, razor blades and floor tiles are the essential garment of my process as an artist.
I usually look at showing the reality in paintings and drawings, but at the same time looking to step out of the traditional technics.
I have spent a several amount of years dealing with different concepts, actions, events and everyday experiences to come up with different ideas and give my artwork an outstanding performance based on livable and real life colloquial occurrences of both the Hindi and Oriental culture that have made me understand as an artist that the space in a bathroom itself and the actions that take place into it, lose its generated utilitarian functionalism throughout the cares of the day to day and become a daily personal ritual where the body divests from time, eagerness in order to find itself with its memory, interior and memoirs. In other words, an intimal diary between human and water. A place where secrets, yearnings, dreams, broken hope, sadness, tiredness and frustration are kept and hidden. Events that have taken me to acknowledge and analyze the meaning of the cross by taking water as symbol of interior cleaning.
